General Features of Our Gearboxes

YILMAZ Gearbox has been developed according to the single body (monoblock) principle, which is a brand new principle that provides great advantages in rigidity, impermeability, noise and gear strength. In all gearboxes, the bearings remain directly on the body itself, not on the part that is connected to any cover or body. Machining of the body axes in one operation provides high manufacturing precision. With the advanced technology developed today, it is ensured that the body made of GG22 material can respond to the high qualities that can be obtained in gear tolerances. This principle also provides an increase in bearing and gear life and high radial loads can be carried. Bearing, gear, Spindle calculations are made with professional software based on the calculation principles of DIN and Niemann. Intermediate curtain inside the gear unit body is monolithic with the body, and optimum rolling bearings can be made in three-stage reducers. Intermediate curtain plays a major role in the emergence of silent gearboxes by ensuring that the gears are supported on both sides, from the closest point to the gear, thus minimizing the deflection and runout of the shafts. Many innovations have been introduced in the new generation gearboxes for flexibility and ease of assembly. Depending on the customer’s request, standard coupled gear units or gear units suitable for connection according to IEC B5 or B14 can be provided for the motor connections of the gear units. All models are produced as footed or flanged, in a single body in two or three stages. Gearboxes are more compact and have lower axis shaft heights for the same power and speed. All gearboxes are designed in a modular system, and changes in interconnections are minimized in double gearboxes. All tolerances used in the gearboxes are kept under active control with the quality assurance system.
