Hydraulic Bolt Tightening Equipment

FPT – Fluid Power Technology produces a wide range of hydraulic bolt tightening equipment such as hydraulic torque wrenches and hydraulic bolt tensioners for tensioning screws, tie rods and stud bolts. No matter what your needs are: FPT has the right solution for the main applications of hydraulic torquing or hydraulic tensioning of flanges, heat exchangers, tanks, compressor boxes, turbines, wind turbines, ball valves, mills, large motors, rolling stands and various types of installations. FPT also produces various models of hydraulic pumps and power units suitable for operating both hydraulic torque wrenches and hydraulic bolt tensioners. The power units can be available in both compact and standard versions, with standard or high flow rates, with electric or air motor and with different tank capacities.
The range is completed by hydraulic nuts to carry on tensioning operations and hydraulic rings which are the ideal solution for bearings installation.

 

PRODUCTION OF CUSTOM MADE EQUIPMENT ON REQUEST OF THE CUSTOMERS

FPT is also specialized in the study and production of custom equipment made to customer specifications following the client from the study of geometries, to the 3D project up to production, 3D solid modelers and F.E.M. are the tools used for the definition of the geometry and the choice of the most suitable material and heat treatment for each construction detail so as to optimize the performance and economic aspects compatible with the production requirements. Thanks to the F.E.A. in fact we can predict the mechanical behavior under operating conditions of each component.
Thanks to 3D CAD we can also virtually assemble our products and examine their operation in a virtual way. In fact, special hydraulic bolt tensioners, special hydraulic nuts and special control units are produced, always following the customer’s needs.
