P3Y Regulator Series offers standard
pressure regulators with balanced poppet design for quick response and accurate
pressure regulation or proportional regulators comprised of a piston
operated pneumatic pressure regulators controlled by a closed loop system in
order to deliver best performance and reliability.
For high flow general industrial applications,
Standard P3Y Pressure Regulators can provide a solution that does not sacrifice
performance. The various options available such as pressure gauge, relieving
& non-relieving, reverse flow/relieving, pressure range and tamperproof
options make this series easy to design to your application.
P3Y Electronic Proportional Regulators allow for
regulation of outlet pressure proportionally to an electrical control signal.
This unit is factory set and must be ordered by customer specification with
either 0-10V, 0-20mA, or 4-20mA control signal. Normally closed (NC) or forced
exhaust normally open (NO) versions. Units can be ordered in normally closed
(NC) or forced exhaust normally open (NO) versions. For the forced exhaust
version, when supply voltage is lost, the unit will automatically exhaust the
regulated pressure to zero. Internal miniature valves control the output
pressure proportionally to a field convertible analogue input control signal of
0-10V, 0-20mA or 4-20mA. An internal pressure sensor measures the output
pressure of the regulator and provides a feedback signal to the controller. Any
difference between the set point and feedback is converted to a digital signal
which will energise either of the internal solenoid valves to correct the
output pressure of the regulator.
P3Y Regulators can be mounted using a body
connector kit to other P3Y air preparation products.
