Since 1985, GEORGII KOBOLD has been manufacturing the KSY series of brushless, permanent magnet servo motors. Through constant R&D, the latest generation of synchronous servo motors – the KSY-D and KSY-Q series – sets new standards in terms of high torque, dynamics and stiffness of the drive system. Their design is also the most compact to date. The motors can also be equipped with appropriate gearboxes, or, when the footprint of the machine must truly be minimized, the KSG-D and KSG-Q series of integrated gear motors are also available. The KSY-D and KSY-Q series of synchronous servo motors is characterized by high quality and reliability and are therefore used in many industries. KSY-D Series of Synchronous Servo Motors
The highly-dynamic synchronous servo motors of the KSY-D series are characterized by high power density at high speeds, a low torque ripple and very compact dimensions. The use of a high-quality aluminum housing gives the motors their smooth surface and contributes to the achievment of an IP65 class of protection. The KSY-D motors are available with eight flange sizes, 2-3 motor lengths per size, and with rated torques from 0.1 to 70 Nm at rated speeds up to 6.000 RPM.

After careful market evaluation, GEORGII KOBOLD has further expanded the KSY-D series with the new, high-value synchronous motors of the KSY-Q series. The KSY-Q synchronous servo motors fully complement the KSY-D-series in the middle speed range by offering a significantly higher torque, a robust construction and an even shorter overall length! To cover most applications, the KSY-Q motors are available with five different flange sizes, 2-3 motor lengths per size, and with nominal torques ranging from 0.45 to 33 Nm at rated speeds up to 3.000 RPM.
