The 590 Series Power Take-Off (PTO) was designed for Allison TC10 and Caterpillar CX Series automatic transmissions that offered a rear mount provision. The 590 promoted simplified installation because there is no gear backlash to set. The rear aperture affords excellent clearance for larger pump designs. The 590 was available with multiple direct mount pump flanges. Each featured a wet spline pump flange option that helped extend the PTO and pump shaft life up to 10 times its normal life expectancy. The 590 was available in both 12 and 24 volt shift options.
