The Schmalz ControlRoom app is available for users of Android and iOS devices. The free app can be used to read out data and messages from the intelligent Schmalz components. In addition, the components can be conveniently parameterized via the mobile device. The complex and time-consuming parameterization in the PLC is no longer necessary thanks to the Schmalz ControlRoom app.
Schmalz uses the advantages of NFC technology for wireless data transmission. Through point-to-point contact, data is transferred from the Schmalz product to the smartphone. This means there is no risk of incorrect parameterization of a neighboring device. The system operator can now evaluate the data on the smartphone and make settings.
Comprehensive service for handling systems as well
Users of vacuum lifters and crane systems can access device-specific information quickly and easily with the help of the Schmalz ControlRoom app. The identification tag on the device contains the serial number and can be read either via QR code or NFC using a smartphone. The one-time registration in the Schmalz ControlRoom app grants access to additional information such as service dates (UVV), operating instructions, spare and wear parts lists, and a company-wide device library.
