CELSIO Heat Shrinking Toolholders

Strong! For powerful metal cutting

The CELSIO heat shrinking system provides an economical clamping system for individual machining cases. The optimum ratio of radial rigidity, interfering contour, and holding torque ensure top quality.

Our performance promise. Your benefits.

  • Secure and friction-locked clamping for transmission of high torques
  • Good ratio between radial rigidity and interfering contour
  • Universally applicable

CELSIO

CELSIO, a heat shrinking system for all types of shrinking devices.
When applying heat shrinking technology for thermal tool clamping, the tool shank is shrunk in the heated tool mounting. An inductive coil creates rapidly changing eddy currents which act on the heat shrinking toolholder directly and apply concentric to the precise point where the tool shank will be inserted. The result is an almost homogeneous unit, as if the heat shrinking toolholder and tool are a single piece.

CELSIO Cool Flow

CELSIO, a heat shrinking system for all types of shrinking devices.
The CELSIO heat shrinking toolholder Cool Flow enables peripheral cooling by means of cooling channels in the wall, which can be optionally closed with two M3 screws. The coolant is fed directly to the cutting edge of the tool.

CELSIO Dual Contact

CELSIO with simultaneous taper and flat work surface closes the interface-related gap between tool flange and the front of the machine spindle with the interface of the flat work surface. The heat shrinking technology system can be used for all types of shrinking devices.
